BEVERLEY MENS SHED RAFFLE

The Beverley Mens Shed will be holding a raffle at the Lions Kiosk next IGA on Friday 03 and Saturday 04 May.

STORYTIME VOLUNTEERS

The Early Years Network are looking for expressions of interest for volunteer readers for the monthly storytime. If you are interested, text Jaime on 0416 461 146.

BEVERLEY BADMINTON CLUB

The Beverley Badminton Club is on Wednesday mornings 9.00am in the Town Hall. Contact Jim Hutchinson, captain, for more information on 0407 770 686.

JIVE/ROCK ‘N’ ROLL IS BACK

Jive/Rock ‘N’ Roll group is back at the RSL Hall on Thursdays starting at 7.00pm. Great fun for all skill levels, bring a friend along to join in the dancing. For more information contact Bob on 0447 515 153.

ARTIST IN RESIDENCE

Jane Li has a variety of workshops coming up while in residence, including Chinese calligraphy and painting, botanical drawing and painting and a lesson in painting animals or your pet. Jane is also doing a Chinese cooking workshop making dumplings on Monday 06 May. You can join Jane in her free Taiji class each morning at the Station! SOCK Week Information Session

Road Trauma Support WA will be delivering a onehour information session for the community who would like to know how they can utilise the Road Trauma Support service to support themselves and others. Restigister your interest at the Beverley CRC or marketing@beverleycrc.com.au.

The information session will help you get better informed on:

•The impact of road trauma in WA.

•An overview of the Road Trauma Support WA service and levels of support.

•How to organise a third-party referral for individuals impacted by road trauma.

•Find out where and how to access support for yourself and others.

BEVERLEY LIBRARY BACKYARD CRICKET GRANT

The Beverley CRC would like to express our gratitude to the LBW Trust. Thanks to their funding we were able to host monthly Junior Book Club sessions, along with partial funding towards science-driven creative writing by Cristy Burne who attended Beverley District High School. A special thanks to Emma Davey at the school who helped faciliate these workshops.
