This catalogue offers a comprehensive overview of The Betts Group’s extensive range of high quality rings covering plain, shaped, diamond set and patterned rings in a range of precious metals. We hold one of the largest stocked ranges of plain wedding bands in the UK, allowing our customers to order the most popular sizes and shapes of wedding band from stock for delivery the next day. We combine centuries of metallurgical knowledge with state of the art tube casting and CNC lathes to ensure we can produce exceptional quality wedding rings in house in the UK. We also manufacture our gold rings from Single Mine Origin gold, giving our customers transparency that their gold can be directly traced to a known, responsibly operated source. About The Betts Group The Betts Group was founded in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter by Alexander Betts at the dawn of the Industrial Revolution in 1760. Now with its ninth consecutive generation managing the business, the Betts family has been directly associated with the recovery of precious metals and the manufacture of products for the jewellery industry for over a quarter of a millennium. The Betts Group remains a proudly independent British manufacturing business headquartered in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter. The business may be unrecognisably different from the days of the Industrial Revolution, but some things never change: our core commitments to service and quality have endured through the centuries and will always remain central to our business.

About Single Mine Origin Gold The Betts Group’s core range of wedding rings are manufactured using Single Mine Origin gold. Consumers are increasingly concerned about the provenance of the products they buy. Price is important, but so too is knowing that a product is of a high quality and has been responsibly sourced. Only a tiny percentage of precious metal utilised in the jewellery or investment sectors has a traceable source of origin and having the reassurance of detailed provenance always attracts a substantial price premium. SMO certification and stamping provides an auditable chain of custody for every gram of gold, and peace of mind that this metal has been produced within strict parameters of corporate, social and environmental responsibility. SMO denotes gold that has been produced by a legitimate mining operation which has signed up to the World Gold Council’s Responsible Gold Mining Principles. Such sources have no ties to conflict and miners are being paid a just wage under secure employment. Furthermore, SMO guarantees that the communities living locally to the gold source are benefitting from sustainability initiatives carried out by the mining operation. Such initiatives include programs centered on education, healthcare, safe drinking water and agricultural prosperity to support a large number of people.

Personalised Laser Engraving
With our state-of-the-art laser engraving technology, we can now create beautiful, precise engraving on the inside, outside and the side (minimum depth applies on side engraving) of bands. The message can be anything. A personal message, nickname, pet names, initials, full names, dates, Roman numerals, special words with meaning – biblical, poetic, songs etc. or an image that is significant to the couple – even their own fingerprint. 68
