The Oklahoma Senior Living Association (OKSLA) is proud to present this updated Membership Directory and Resource Guide.

Our goal, as the OKSLA Board of Directors and Staff, is to provide a valuable resource for everyone interested in senior living across Oklahoma. The majority of Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Residential Care communities in Oklahoma are members of OKSLA, as well as a few ICF/IID under 16 beds and independent senior living communities. All of these are represented in this directory. We are confident it will serve as a helpful guide for families as they research and identify the community that best meets their loved one’s needs.

OKSLA is the only association solely dedicated to Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Residential Care communities in Oklahoma. We work continuously to advocate for and collaborate with state legislators and regulatory partners to support positive changes in policy and practice—always with the goal of enhancing the quality of life for Oklahoma’s seniors. Dear Attendees, This Aint Our First Rodeo!” During our 2023 Annual Convention & Trade Show (Alice &Wonderland theme), Jacob Smith with Boomer Solutions pitched this theme. We already had our next two year’s themes, but I was so excited to add this theme for 2026. As a little girl, my dad would take us every year to the Hinton Rodeo. This is where I learned to love rodeos. They always had county & western singers/bands. And for a couple of years, it was Reba McIntire before she became so famous. Fast forward to my high school days, I still loved the Rodeo. Just not the heat! I still would attend all the local western Oklahoma rodeos, including the one in my hometown of Cordell Another year of “Thank You” to our members who took the survey to help us with what topics YOU wanted to learn more about. We HEARD you. More Alzheimer’s and Dementia training. You will see that we have dedicated a full track to dementia training. Another new track is the Senior Leadership.

This track is designed for Owners, VPs, and Regionals in mind, and we will add more sessions next year.

Another highly requested topic was stress/burnout. We have brought in National Speakers to present on these requested topics. Our mental health members wanted new material. Not what they have been hearing for years that isn’t helpful. So, I reached out to the University of Central Oklahoma and the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health to bring in fresh topics to meet their training requirements.

Our trade show is back and will be just as exciting as previous years! This year we offered the “Roaming Vendor” package. This allows a vendor to be at the convention with full vendor benefits but not have to mess with putting together a booth. You will see 2 vendors doing just that. We are excited about the NEW vendors that we are bringing to you. You will also find those friendly faces of the Vendors you have come to love and trust over the years. Be sure to go and visit with each vendor. They are here to make your life easier.

And of course, what is an OKSLA Convention without a little bit of fun…fundraising! Last year’s dessert bake-off silent auction was such a success, that we decided to bring back the silent auction. Nothing like a friendly competition between your competitors to raise money for a good cause. The company that raises the most money will receive an award and bragging rights for this year. We will also recognize 2nd & 3rd place. The funds raised will benefit the Oklahomans for Quality Senior Care PAC fund. Thank you to Legend Senior Living for raising the most money in 2025. Can’t wait to see who wins in 2026.

I want to personally thank my staff, the Educational Events Committee and all the volunteers that have worked hard to make this year’s convention a success.

During the year, my staff and I found out that there are many members with close connections to the Rodeo circuit. Learning about your personal lives outside of senior living has been an honor. Thank you for sharing.

Even though this “Aint our First Rodeo”, we can all come together and learn on the same topics with the newest information. Bringing back refreshing and new resources to better serve our residents and staff. I hope you enjoy this theme as much as the OKSLA Board of Directors and staff did to make it come to fruition. Jennifer has two decades of health care experience and has had the opportunity to touch many lives. Jennifer won the National Quality Award in 2008 when she worked in a long-term care community. Jennifer has held the title of Area Director of Operations, operating up to 4 communities in the state of Oklahoma. Currently, Jennifer is the executive director of The Grove at Midtown Assisted Living and Memory Care Community, where she oversees all operations of this 120-apartment community for assisted living and memory care residents.

During her career, Jennifer has over 25 years of health care experience, she has had the opportunity of being a turnaround specialist in multiple buildings over the years and renovation projects for managed communities. Her portfolio of experience is unique. In addition to her operational health care experience, Jennifer has also done contract consulting work for long-term care and assisted living communities. In addition, Jennifer currently serves on the Oklahoma Senior Living Association Board in OKC, OK. Jennifer currently oversees The Grove at Midtown Community operations for assisted living & memory care. These responsibilities specifically include budget over site for all departments. Keeping all departments within state & federal guidelines and building a positive culture for residents, team members, families and friends at The Grove at Midtown. Jennifer has also been an instructor for the OKSLA Assisted Living Administrator Certification Course for the past 2 years where she leads the modules for state regulations and human resources.

She enjoys motivating young leaders by presenting the material in such a way that everyone can participate. Her high energy and "say it like it is personality" keeps audiences guessing as to what will be discovered next. Jennifer’s passion is to mentor young leaders that want to grow in the senior living industry, and she continues to mentor throughout their career. Jennifer’s compassion, love and advocacy for our seniors, the greatest generation of all time, is evident from the first time you hear her speak.

VIDEO TAPING & CELL PHONES Video recording of educational sessions is strictly prohibited. Please silence cell phones during sessions. If you must take a call, kindly step outside the room. Extensive phone calls could lead to a deduction in your education hours.

CONTINUING EDUCATION (CEU) REQUIREMENTS This entire education offering has been Approved for Continuing Education for 12 total participant hours by NAB/NCERS— Approval #20270803-32-A123805-IN To receive a Certificate of Attendance or NAB CEU completion, the following MUST be completed: ¨ Register/Check-In Each Day at the Registration/Help Desk to receive your “Verification of Attendance” form. ¨ Fill out your form completely. If you turn in a blank form, we will not know whom to report NAB credits. ¨ Please see a door monitor at the beginning & ending of each session. Your attendance form will need to be “punched” In & Out to verify your attendance at that session. ¨ At the end of the day, turn in the “White Copy”. Be sure it is completely filled out. The “Yellow Copy” can be used for your records. ¨ Please note that room monitors will be stationed at the entry/exit doors of each session. They have been instructed to adjust your CEU punch forms if you leave your education session. ¨ If you find that you must leave your current education session, please notify that session’s monitor upon departure and return. ¨ CEU hours will be adjusted for late arrival; early departure; and excessive breaks from education sessions. ¨ CEU’s will be uploaded to your NAB account within 30 days from the convention. ¨ For CEU certificates you may print them from the NAB CEU Registry: www.nabweb.org/ceregistry
