Bulletin THE BETH TFILOH

Celebrating the Joy of Judaism, Embracing all Jews. TEVET-SHEVAT 5776 JANUARY 2016

Beth Tfiloh Named a Top 100 Workplace Beth Tfiloh Congregation and Schools is proud to have been named one of The Baltimore Sun’s Top 100 Workplaces for the second year in a row. In its listing, The Baltimore Sun noted that “since its founding in 1921, Beth Tfiloh Congregation & Schools has grown into an indispensable institution within Baltimore’s Jewish community.” Beth Tfiloh was ranked fourth among medium-sized workplaces and also received special honors for receiving the highest rankings for “managers” of all the workplaces surveyed. Several of the comments made by BT employees as part of the anonymous survey were featured on The Baltimore

Sun website: “I share my time and talent and, in return, receive a true sense of community.” “We lead with our hearts and compassion.” “I value the caring family atmosphere.” The rankings were based on anonymous employee responses to a survey that included 22 questions measuring seven different job-satisfaction factors, including training, how managers help employees to learn and grown, the organization’s values, and the extent to which

employees feel appreciated, and feel that their work is meaningful. View the rankings online at bit.ly/ baltimoresuntopworkplaces.

NAFTALI BENNETT (pictured with Rabbi Gross, Eli Burman and Rabbi Wohlberg) told a packed Sanctuary, “The land of Israel belongs to us, it has always belonged to us, and it always will belong to us.” The event was sponsored by Eli Burman in memory of his father, David Burman. A complete recap of the evening including a video of the entire program is available on the Beth Tfiloh website.
