I write to confirm that subject to the approval of our Programme Finance Committee and thereafter to contract, Clare Kitson, Assistant Commissioning Editor for Animation is interested in acquiring the exclusive UK broadcasting rights in the above named animation.
We wish to acquire the right to transmit the animation three times over a period of seven years and in this regard I am proposing a licence fee of £750, payable as to 50% on signature of the licence agreement and the balance on delivery and technical acceptance of the broadcast material.
Kindly let me know if this proposal is acceptable to you and if so the earliest convenient delivery date and the medium on which you will be delivering. Thereafter I will seek the approval of our Programme Finance Committee. I look forward to hearing from you.

Just to say that Clare and I have now both seen the roughcut, and are very happy with it. I think it holds together much better now, and is beautiful to look at.
