Unfortunately, a 15 year old boy was not so lucky It was reported by another media source that the boy and his friends went swimming in a water pool near the Liebenbergsvlei River near the township of Bohlokong on Wednesday 16 November 2022, and drowned. It was alleged that the boy which drowned was overwhelmed byhowdeepthewaterwas and was sucked up by a great amount of mud that was in the pool of water Police werecalledtothescenewheretheyfound his lifeless body next to the pool after bystanders pulled it from the water and the authorities declared him dead on the scene. Despite the warning the municipality previously issued to its residents, they did share their sincere condolences to the family of the boy who lost his life They again called upon residents to educate their children and warn them about the dangers of swimming in standing water pools or rivers.
