Bethesda Project Family Picnic
This year’s summer picnic was an awesome success! Over 150 residents, guests, volunteers, and staff came together on July 22nd at Ridley Creek State Park for a day of food and fun in the sun. For over 27 years, the annual family picnic has been a summer tradition. Dedicated volunteers from St. Norbert’s Church of Paoli donated burgers and hotdogs to grill up, while volunteers from Center of Student Missions helped chop and slice condiments. The students also lead activities like tug-of-war, bingo, water balloon toss, and games of chess and pinochle. Bethesda Project’s Senior Case Manager Ginny even led a nature walk right before lunch! There were plenty of laughs and wonderful summer memories made by all in attendance.
