Youth Essentials Program
The Youth Essentials Program is designed for youth ages 8-12 and will focus on developing skills to increase independence and prepare learners for activities of daily living.
This program will follow an interdisciplinary curriculum focused on:
Safety skills for home and in the community
Expanding communication skills
Self advocacy skills
Expanding Interests
Simple cooking skills
Executive functioning skills
Cleaning and Self- care skills
Session details:
Ages 8-12
20 Weeks
Weekly on Mondays and Tuesdays
Sept 9, 2024 – Jan 28, 2025 (no sessions Dec 24 & 31)
9:00 – 3:30
