Bethany College’s social work program blends classroom learning with real-world experience in a variety of professional settings. Students complete 550 hours of field placement, supervised by experienced faculty and professional mentors. Field placements are available in hospitals, schools, nursing homes, correctional centers, behavioral health facilities, domestic violence prevention programs, and many other social service settings across the tri-state area. Based on your GPA, you may qualify for advanced standing in a graduate social work program, allowing you to complete a master’s degree in as little as 12 months.

ABOUT BETHANY COLLEGE Bethany College, founded in 1840, is the oldest private college in West Virginia.
