MATHEMATICS

Mathematics at Bethany College is both an excellent complement to other programs and a rich field of study on its own. The critical thinking, problem solving, and quantitative reasoning skills learned here serve Bethanians well as productive members of the world in which they immerse themselves upon graduation.
In addition to a solid understanding in the foundations of computational and proofbased mathematics, our major provides in its track options a strong opportunity for students to apply their skills to actuarial sciences, computer science, economics, physics, and pure mathematics. Research, presentation, and internship experiences are available to all mathematics majors. If you’re interested in another field, mathematics pairs naturally as a supplementary minor or double major.
Our graduates have gone on to successful careers in financial institutions, engineering, information solutions, and postgraduate research.
