Campus You need to visit here. That’s all there is to it. Stand in the middle of the campus, do a 360, and you’ll be transfixed. Bethany College is nestled in the rolling hills of the Allegheny Mountains. The campus is absolutely magnificent, and stays that way through the four seasons. Though you’d hardly know it, we’re an easy 50 minutes from Pittsburgh and a half-hour from Wheeling, WV.

Bethany College is a private, liberal arts college located in Bethany, West Virginia.

Founded in 1840, it’s the oldest institution of higher education in the state.

That’s a metaphor for “we like winning big time!” No matter what your sport, if your high school coaches say you’re good enough to play DIII, give us a shout. We have more than 20 varsity sports, none of them for the faint of heart. And wait ’til you see our facilities. They’re a testament to the fact that athletics have always been a huge part of the Bethany culture.You will be the very definition of a student-athlete. That says a lot.

In its history, Bethany’s accomplishments include the 1994 NCAA Division III Men’s Soccer National Championship, more than 93 Presidents’ Athletic Conference championships, more than 70 NCAA Tournament appearances, and more than 78 ECAC Championship berths.
