The Carlisle Area Chamber of Commerce Monthly Newsletter

It’s been an exciting summer for the Chamber Staff took some time off to relax and refresh, our board of directors just completed our new strategic plan, we’ve finalized our events and education calendar for the fiscal year, and we’ve accepted 37 fellows into our Leadership Cumberland program
As we began looking at our strategic plan and all the exciting initiatives, we would like to complete in the next three years, we realized one of our areas of focus needed to increase the awareness and usage of our Carlisle Area Chamber Foundation
Our current logo encompasses both our Carlisle Area Chamber Foundation and Chamber of Commerce logos We decided moving forward that we’d like to have two separate logos to differentiate the organizations and bring more awareness of their unique purpose Therefore, we decided in addition to rolling out a new strategic plan (which we’ll share with membership at our October 17th Annual Meeting) we should rebrand our organizations at the same time
You’ll see our new logos to the right We kept our original logo to represent the Carlisle Area Chamber Foundation, since the Foundation owns our beautiful Swarner Mansion We changed the color scheme to compliment our new Chamber of Commerce logo so it would be clear both entities work together
Our new Chamber of Commerce logo is an attempt to refresh our brand You’ll notice the logo is cleaner, the font more modern, and it now includes our slogan which is connect, engage, thrive (action words that stem from our core values of community, relationships, and integrity) The new logo will hopefully appeal to a larger (and younger) demographic and symbolize our goal to provide connection to our community
As for the color, you wouldn’t believe how many Chambers of Commerce use navy blue! To differentiate ourselves we chose the teal color you see above, a mixture of green and blue, which evokes feelings of freshness, growth, trust, and dependability Attributes we certainly strive for at the Chamber
We’re excited to announce that in addition to rebranding our logos, we will also be doing a refresh to our website and marketing materials that will begin to roll out this month.
We hope you like the new logos as much as we do And we look forward to sharing more about our core values and new strategic plan with you at our Annual Meeting on October 17th (save the date)
