THE CHAMBER

The Carlisle Area Chamber of Commerce Monthly Newsletter

President’s Letter

Dear Members,

As we welcome October, I am thrilled to celebrate this important time of year—Chamber of Commerce Month! It’s an opportunity to not only reflect on the impact our Chamber has made in our local business community but also to reaffirm our commitment to driving continued growth, innovation, and collaboration.

The Chamber of Commerce plays a vital role in shaping the success of our businesses, and by extension, the overall wellbeing of our community. Our mission has always been to serve as a bridge between businesses, government, and residents, ensuring that we create a prosperous and vibrant economy. Whether through advocacy, networking, educational events, or providing resources to help businesses thrive, the Chamber’s influence is far-reaching.

This October, we want to highlight several key reasons why Chamber membership and engagement are so important:

Networking Opportunities: The connections made through the Chamber are invaluable. By fostering relationships with other business owners, entrepreneurs, and local leaders, you have the opportunity to exchange ideas, create partnerships, and gain insights that help your business thrive.

Resources for Growth: Whether you are a small business owner just starting out or a well-established organization, the Chamber offers a wealth of resources designed to help you grow. From educational events to business support, we’re here to ensure your success.

Community Engagement: As a member of the Chamber, you are an integral part of something bigger—a network of individuals and businesses committed to the growth and enrichment of our entire community. Together, we create jobs, improve services, and make our community a more attractive place to live and work.

Throughout this month, we have planned several events to celebrate Chamber Month and provide additional opportunities for you to connect, engage, and thrive. From our annual luncheon meeting, social media campaigns and networking mixers, we encourage you to participate, share your voice, and take full advantage of all that the Chamber has to offer.

Let’s make October not just a celebration of our past achievements but a springboard into an even brighter future for our local economy. Your continued support and involvement in the Chamber are essential as we work to ensure that businesses in our community continue to prosper. Together, we will continue to build a stronger, more resilient, and vibrant business environment for all.

Regional Mega Mixer was a huge success

The regional Chambers joined forces in September to host the annual Regional Mega Mixer. With more than 350 attendees, the event was a huge success. Our members were able to network with other Chamber members from the West Shore Chamber, Shippensburg Chamber, Mechanicsburg Chamber, the Cumberland Area Economic Development Corporation, and the Cumberland Valley Visitors Bureau.
