Reminder: New Address We know it’s been a Year, but we just want remind you that our new address is Listen to me. How many times have we said this to someone or vice versa? We have had a crash course in effective listening over the past few months, since we are not meeting in person. So what are you hearing? We want to know. Our membership volunteers do a great job of reaching out to you. They want to know what you are experiencing and how we can help. One of the areas that most of you are asking us to focus on is networking. With our limitations on events, getting out and shaking hands is not an option right now. But we are working on ways to connect you and want to keep hearing from you on how we can meet your needs. We have also heard that you need financial support. We have provided webinars on all of the available funding programs - and you attended and listened, as well as actively participated. And because we heard you, we have partnered with the PA 30 Fund, a non-profit that provides forgivable loans for Pennsylvania-based small businesses. They are designed to be quick, easy, and free of red tape, as small business owners work to keep employees on board in the near term. All we ask in return: if you can, is to pay it forward. The loan is a $3,000 forgivable loan. And even though their website says that the loan is for businesses with 3 – 30 employees, we have asked them to change our terms to allow for 1 – 30 employees businesses. So please consider applying. Also, we have raised almost $50,000 to date. But the need is there and we need to raise more. If you know of a business or individual that would be willing to make a donation, then please direct them to us at the Chamber. We are listening and here to help.
