Instructor: D’Andre Wilson-Ihejirika, William Moss, Bradley Thompson, Darren Butler, Sowmya Thottambeti and Keithan
William Moss is a current junior honor student pursuing his Bachelors of Science in Computer Science at Kettering University. He is also a former BETA Camp student who attended 4 camps in total and attributes his career aspirations to the exposure he received during his time at BETA Camp. William is an aspiring data scientist and throughout his college career has landed Co-ops with Grand Bahama Power Company and Branson Healthcare. This summer he will be working as a software engineer intern with Amazon.
Keithan Smith is currently a MSc Risk Management and Financial Engineering candidate at Imperial College London. He has professional experience as a Strategic Risk and financial advisory consultant at Deloitte, Atlanta, USA and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the Florida International University. I have attended 4 BETA Camps in the past and the teachers really made computer science fun, interesting and challenging. This is the biggest reason I decided to pursue it as a career path. BETA Camp played a pivotal role in that decision and so because of that exposure I’m now able to pursue a career path that is changing our world rapidly. I’m excited to give back as an instructor this year, this is such a full circle moment! -William
My ambition is to lead through service and I’m excited to impart knowledge in statistical analyses using R and Python to the 2022 BETA cohort. -Keithan
