Westside Steak and BBQ

Westside Steak and BBQ has been getting pretty popular within the Eta Tau Chapter. For those of you that are unfamiliar, Westside has been catering for our bid dinners, making those nights unforgettable memories. And here are just a few more reasons for why we love this place!

Now the food is obviously the main attraction, but it is very difficult in words to describe just how good it is. Our biggest advocate for this restaurant, brother Antonio Varela, often says “If you order somethingon the menu, then it’s going to be life-changing.” The restaurant features a large menu with a wide variety of BBQ dishes to have, with additional specials. There are the classic ribs, brisket, pulled pork, chicken wings, tacos, burritos, sandwiches, burgers, and steak (and Antonio has proudly had all these items). There is likely a thing for everyone on this menu, and even that is without the amazing appetizers and sides. The menu is also good for those college students that areon a budget. Half a slab of ribs, two huge sides, and

some cornbread for just $18.99?! That’s a steal! Comparing that to The Fix, you have to pay $15 for a single burger (we still love The Fix regardless). Mouthwatering food for a great price, what’s not to love?

And if the food has not already caught your attention, one of the biggest reasons to visit Westside, socially distanced of course, is to meet the owner of the restaurant, Elaine. Whenever we stop by, she always heartwarmingly welcome us and check-in about our studies. Her service is spectacular too, offering thebest advice on what to get on the menu, as well as experimental dishes and sauces.

Westside Steak and BBQ is a great restaurant that offers amazing service with a great atmosphere. Check it out when you have the chance!
