Welcome Holly Stupak, Our New Content Coordinator!

by Bob Blaisse, Publisher of Marple Friends & Neighbors Magazine

We all have friends and neighbors in Marple. But one, already known to many, Holly Stupak, has now joined Marple Friends & Neighbors magazine as our new Content Coordinator. Welcome Holly. Your first issue looks great!

With Holly Stupak now on our team, I want to thank Liz Burnett, who has filled the Content Coordinator role since our October issue. She has taken our magazine to a higher level. Liz will continue in her other role as my Executive Assistant and now also as our Content Administrator, supporting Holly. Thank you, Liz, for your skills and leadership.

When I interviewed Holly, I asked what attracted her and her husband Pete to come and live in Marple. Holly was quick to answer: “It’s a tight-knit community, with fantastic schools, and in close proximity to Philadelphia.” Holly knows her two teenage children, Colin and Sarah, have benefited from the many academic and extracurricular activities Marple Township offers as a great hometown of friends and neighbors.

A 1995 graduate of Susquehanna University, with a B.A. in Journalism, Holly has spent her career as a copy editor and writer in the publishing and advertising fields. When Colin and Sarah were young, Holly worked from home as a freelance writer and editor. In 2016, Holly returned to work full-time at Villanova University, as a Coordinator during the academic year. And now, Holly’s skills are benefiting our hometown magazine.

Soon after meeting Holly, I knew she was the hometown professional I was hoping to find, and I was right. Since coming on board, Holly has been connecting with some of our Readers, to write stories that come from our community. “I’m thrilled,” Holly told me, “that after years of technical and medical writing, I can now write human-interest stories about people living in my hometown. I look forward to all our Readers emailing me nominations of residents for our cover and suggestions for features about Marple Township organizations and events.”

Friends & Neighbors: One of our own, Holly Stupak, is now on the job, and looking for your support in her new responsibility to take our hometown magazine to another new level in print and through social media. Please reach out and welcome Holly to our magazine, and offer your nominations for our cover and ideas for upcoming features. Email Holly at HStupak@BestVersionMedia.com.
