Located in Marple Commons since 2011, Dr. Georges P. Martin, DMD, and his dedicated staff at Marple Dental (www.MarpleDental.com) offer the full spectrum of dental treatment in a safe and compassionate environment. Dr. Martin, a long-time resident of Delaware County, has been in private practice since 1987. After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, he received extensive and ongoing training in cosmetic dentistry, implant-supported crowns and bridges, and implant-stabilized dentures.
Dr. Martin opened his first practice in his own home while he and his wife were raising their children. He then eventually moved the practice to Broomall, where he and his dedicated staff are focused on making patients feel at home.

Office Manager and Certified Dental Assistant Kristen Dumigan covers all aspects of patient management and insurance processing. Anna Verdecchio, Dr. Martin’s full-time chair-side Assistant who’s known for her calm demeanor, has all the skills required for today’s cosmetic and restorative procedures.
After closing the office for three months due to COVID-19, Marple Dental reopened in June. Although it was initially quite challenging to acquire all the necessary PPE, Dr. Martin said the practice has gotten back to “as normal as things can be” during a pandemic. They purchased equipment for infection control, including a high-efficiency air filtration system to keep the air clean, and a high-tech vacuum that draws air away from the mouth. “Our staff has shown great patience during these difficult times and has embraced the new procedures,” Dr. Martin said gratefully.
They’ve been able to keep patients separated by staggering appointments and taking one family at a time. “We are happy to have our families back, many of whom have been with me for 25 years. Having been closed for three months, we were very pleased at how well our patients took care of their teeth during the shutdown.” Dr. Martin said.
