Congratulations to Noah Curry, March Sproul Lanes Student of the Month
by Liz Burnett
The March Sproul Lanes Student of the Month is Noah Curry, a Senior at Devon Preparatory School! Noah received a Certificate of Achievement, and looks forward to enjoying his award: a “Pizza Bowl” party courtesy of Sproul Lanes, our Sponsor of this program.
In the seven years Noah has attended Devon Prep, he has eagerly participated in many school-sponsored and also family-initiated service activities and programs that benefit people of all ages in the Philadelphia area. Noah has served as an assistant at some schools and mental health facilities; planted trees to beautify the community; collected clothing and other items for Veterans; visited the sick in nursing homes; played cards with residents in assisted living facilities; and prepared and packaged food for food banks and for direct distribution to the hungry.

Noah frequently uses his singing talent to create enjoyment for others. He has performed in many of his school’s plays and musicals. Now a long-time member in his school’s Choral Tide vocal group, Noah demonstrates leadership by mentoring younger and newer group members, and encouraging them to feel more confident about sharing their time and talent for the benefit of the group and their audiences.
Noah, an Honor Student in Devon Prep’s challenging curriculum, loves to draw and is considering a career in Digital Arts and Animation. That may be a great way to serve others for this fine young man who “has a gift for making people feel good about themselves” and who values friendship so highly that during the pandemic, he helped his friends stay in touch and not be discouraged by organizing group outdoor social activities, online game nights and Zoom gatherings.
