Business Profile: Splash Surf Club

Splash is a vision of two long-time Marple community residents. After several months of construction, Splash, located at 2705 Sunset Blvd, Broomall, will hold its Grand Opening Saturday, May 25. Splash is excited to bring back the memory of life at the pool.
Splash will have many features and amenities for people of all ages to enjoy. There are two large pools and a “baby pool” for the younger children. Private cabanas will be available for daily or seasonal rentals. The Splash Truck will feature coffee, pastries, gelato, ice cream, and water ice. The Wave Cafe is temperature controlled and will have a chef all season who will be creating a revolving menu of classic pool food with a twist. Splash is excited to let everyone know that The Splash Truck and The Wave Cafe will be open for all the public, not just members.
When families aren’t relaxing around the pool or hanging out in the 2000-square foot open-air pavilion, they can play basketball on the full-sized court or wiffle ball on the newly added field. And if it’s too hot out, the kids can go into the airconditioned arcade or game room with 10 TVs and game consoles.
There will be theme music nights with food and dancing, outdoor movies, and games for the whole family to enjoy. Children can chase each other in the grass as the sun is setting, then lay down on blankets as the movie starts. The idea is to create a community hub around Splash, not just a place to swim but a destination where the community can come together.
Now that the design and building process is ending and the weather is getting warmer, Splash is beyond excited for the summer. After months of construction, the vision is coming together: A clear blue sky, the sun shimmering on the pools, kids playing around, a game of wiffle ball going on in the lower field, and families and friends laughing together all around the grounds. It’s a vision that all Splash members will soon cherish.
