She has dedicated her career to developing others in a myriad of diverse industries. An expert advocate of selecting and developing talent for leadership and business successors who have held various leadership roles in industries, such as non-profit and for-profit; on boards of directors in corporations; in ministries, the Department of Defense, and Federal Governments within the US and internationally She is a retired executive leader with decades of excellence and experience within her career

A retired Army Lieutenant Colonel (Engineer Regiment) with 29 years of Honorable and distinguished service to the nation and she is a recipient of many awards, medals, and ribbons. She has worked in various leadership positions throughout the Department of Defense, having received distinguished civilian medals in the Federal and Civilian Governments She was recently honored as a Woman of Excellence –a woman making a difference in her community, by The Women of Excellence and Circle of Excellence, which is an organization established in 2018, Dr. Amicitia’s involvement and experiences include both the local and national board of directors. She has been a Professional Women’s Network member for more than a decade, as well as an Advisory Board member

She is a Certified John Maxwell Team Member, Executive Coach; National Speakers Association Member; Society of Human Resource Management; she is an Associate of Training Development Member, just to name a few.
