Tilly’s Big Cut Tilly Pearson of Talgarno is now minus a foot of hair after the ‘big cut’ on Friday 2 February, overcoming last minute ‘notsurephobia’!
The Big Cut occurred in front of students, teachers, parents and community members on Friday 2 February at Talgarno Primary School after a BBQ lunch.
Her plaits were cut and sent to ‘Hair with Heart - Variety the Children’s Charity’ along with $2500 raised through donations from friends, family and the community.
Tilly’s Grandfather, Graham Redman, fancied himself as Tilly’s hairdresser and pulled out the garden shears and wool shears, but eventually resorted to standard scissors after Tilly ducked and weaved!
