La collection Marthe naît de la collaboration entre la Maison Haviland et l’Hôtel Ritz Paris, depuis 1912. Ce décor, d’inspiration Louis XIV en bleu et or est une réédition de la première collection commandée par César Ritz en 1898 pour l’inauguration de l’établissement. Une délicate frise de feuilles d’acanthe, de palmettes, de campanules et de jacinthes stylisées dans des nuances de bleu, couleur emblématique du Ritz.
The Marthe collection is the result of a collaboration between Maison Haviland and the Ritz Hotel in Paris, dating back to 1912. This Louis XIV-inspired design in blue and gold is a reissue of the first collection commissioned by César Ritz in 1898 for the hotel’s opening. It features a delicate frieze of acanthus leaves, palmettes, bellflowers, and stylized hyacinths in shades of The Ritz Hotel’s iconic blue.
