2014-2015 Annual Report of Giving Berkshire School is tremendously grateful for the support of its alumni, parents, faculty and staff, and friends who have given so generously this past year. The loyalty and commitment of our extended community is evident in the efforts of our alumni and parent volunteers and the extraordinary generosity of donors who have contributed to capital, endowment and annual giving programs. We are extremely proud to report that Berkshire raised $18,782,439.10 this year through our capital and annual giving programs. Impressively, $2,643,598.39 of that total came from the 1,769 donors by way of the 2014-15 Annual Fund. While we remain humbled by our community’s steadfast willingness to support our School, we’d like to especially thank our dedicated Board of Trustees, and our remarkable faculty and staff who came together on behalf of Berkshire with 100% and 77% participation respectively—a recent all-time high. The Parents’ Fund reached $1,191,192.08 with the support of 75% of our parent body, an increase over last year. As our supporters know, the Annual Fund has a direct and immediate impact on all areas of life at Berkshire. Each dollar is critical to supporting our students’ academic, artistic and athletic endeavors, and indeed their daily lives. Every gift supports a Berkshire experience. Thank you for making these experiences possible. Our Mission Rooted in an inspiring natural setting, Berkshire School instills the highest standards of character and citizenship and a commitment to academic, artistic and athletic excellence. Our community fosters diversity, a dedication to environmental stewardship, and an enduring love for learning.
