Dear Berkeley Hall Member, We are proud to introduce the 2027 Golf Program Book to the membership. We look forward to the upcoming season which will include exciting new tournaments, updated tournaments, and golf programs for the whole membership to enjoy. The 2027 Golf Program Book is available to view via the Club’s website, as well as via the Club App. Go to www.berkeleyhallclub.com, under the Golf Corner Page and click on 2027 Men’s Program. The event registration portal is available via the Golf dropdown menu of the website or under the Golf section on the Club App. We will be using Golf Genius event registration for all tournament entries in 2027. This year’s Tournament Book includes the complete 2027 schedule and information for the “major” tournaments along with information on Golf Course Maintenance & Nine & Wine Events. As a reminder, all 2027 tournament/event registration will be available on the Club’s website via the Events Registration Portal. Men’s and Ladies’ day events will continue to be held on Wednesday’s and Thursday’s respectively and registration is through the Events Registration Portal or by calling the Golf Shop. Please remember to register early for all your favorite events! Additional Competitive Opportunities Available LOW COUNTRY TEAM PLAY – The team is chosen from the lowest handicaps up to 25. Matches are played scratch (no handicap strokes) in teams of two, using the better ball on each hole. Three points per match are possible: front, back and overall. Matches are played in February and March at the various area clubs. Berkeley Hall currently has three teams, Berkeley Hall I, Berkeley Hall II, and Berkeley Hall III in the Low Country Team Play Association. Linda Gettings ~ Berkeley Hall Representative LOW COUNTRY WOMEN’S GOLF ASSOCIATION – Open to all golfers with a 21.5 handicap index or less. You may apply during the Spring and Fall of each year if you are interested in becoming a member. The golf events are held at local Hilton Head and Beaufort County golf clubs. If you are interested in participating, contact the Golf shop for information. Tracey MacGown ~ Berkeley Hall Representative 18-HOLE EXCHANGE & INVITATIONAL DAYS – Individual play with other local clubs. Berkeley Hall hosts an exchange day every other year, with approximately eleven participating clubs. Consequently, we are invited to these clubs for 18-holes of golf and lunch. The Bluffton Invitational (Berkeley Hall, Belfair, Colleton River, & Moss Creek) also takes place annually, at rotating facilities. Announcements are in the locker room, and you may sign up in the pro shop for any of these events. Ellen Schraeder & Betsi Lynch ~ Berkeley Hall Representatives 9-HOLE EXCHANGE DAYS – Individual play with other local clubs. Berkeley Hall hosts an exchange day every other year, with about twenty clubs participating. Consequently, we are invited to these clubs for a day of golf and lunch. Announcements are in the locker room, and you may sign up in the pro shop for any of these events. Susan Basile & Taniel Cameron ~ Berkeley Hall Representatives SOUTH CAROLINA WOMEN’S GOLF ASSOCIATION – Berkeley Hall is a member, and events are posted on the web site and in the locker room. If you are interested in a particular event, contact the Golf Shop for information. PLAYER OF THE YEAR (POY) – The Members with the most points accumulated from the start of the season in October to Closing Day in May. A POY Shootout is scheduled to occur in May after the Closing Day event. The top 10 point winners will play in a shootout to determine the 2025-2026 Player of the Year. Points are accumulated as follows: Four points (4) will be awarded for each Thursday Ladies’ Day tournament in which you participate. The President’s Cup and Chairman’s Cup events you participate in will receive double participation points toward Player of the Year. Additionally, points are awarded based on performance in each event. Point System: 4 points for 1st Place 3 points for 2nd Place 2 points for 3rd Place MOST IMPROVED PLAYER – This award goes to the Member whose golf shows the greatest improvement from Opening Day to Closing Day. It is measured by handicap improvement differential using the Ghin system. The Most Improved Player will receive an award at the end of the Ladies’ Day golf season. BIRDIES OR BETTER, CHIP-INS, SANDY PARS – On Thursday Ladies’ Day at the first tee, sign the Birdies or Better, Chip-In, Sandy Pars sheet and pay $2 for each ($1 for Sandy Pars) if you wish to participate. If you have a Birdie or Better, Chip-In, and/or Sandy Par, you must circle your name on the sign in sheet which will be at the scoring area at the end of each tournament. Players must circle their name by the end of scoring on the day of play to be eligible to win Birdie, Chip-In, and Sandy Par money. Winners will be paid at the end of each tournament. Ladies’ Day Ringer Event – During the Ladies’ Day golf season, a multi-round golf competition where players build a single, ideal 18-hole scorecard. Play two or more rounds and the player with lowest 18-hole scorecard at the end of the Ladies’ Day golf season will be the winner.

2027 Mixed Nine & Wine Events The Mixed Nine & Wine Golf events are very popular and are a great way to meet new Members and enjoy fun team formats. Each event will be a shotgun with drinks & heavy hors d’oeuvres served following the round. You may sign up as a team of four, or sign up as a two and we will pair you.

To sign up for these events, please call the Golf Shop at 843.815.8444 or sign up online through the Event Registration Portal. Berkeley Hall Dress Code Appropriate golf attire is required for all Players. If in doubt as to appropriate attire, players should check with the Golf Shop staff. Shirts must be worn at all times. Men must have shirts with sleeves and collars (turtlenecks or mock collars are acceptable) and their shirts must be tucked in at all times. Women's golf specific sleeveless tops must have a collar. Women's golf specific tops without a collar must have sleeves. Slacks, trousers, athletic pants with pockets, shorts, skirts, dresses, skorts, and other attire, in styles designed for golf are permitted. There is no specific length requirement on dresses, shorts, skirts, or skorts; however, attire must present a professional image and undergarments may not be obviously visible. Leggings may be worn underneath an approved bottom but may not be worn alone. Hats must be worn with the bill facing forward. Denim, bathing suits, cargo pants/shorts (sewn on/extruding pockets), cut-offs, sweatpants, halter tops, tops that expose midriffs, and t-shirts not branded/designed for golf are prohibited. Fashion and industry standards are constantly changing; therefore, this is not an exhaustive list of acceptable and inappropriate attire but should serve as a guide. The Golf Shop staff reserves the right to make the final determination of the appropriateness of attire. Shoes: Soft Spikes and Tennis Shoes are the only acceptable shoes for the golf courses and practice facilities. Large rubber spikes, metal spikes, and/or field shoes are not permitted. Acceptable spikes are available through the Locker Room.

Berkeley Hall Pace of Play & Course Etiquette Berkeley Hall’s pace of play policy has been set at 4 hours. Any group that falls behind the four-hour pace will be asked to speed up by the professional staff. Groups will get two warnings and if they cannot get back into position, they will be asked to pick up their balls and proceed to the correct position on the golf course. Members that are asked to skip ahead two times throughout the course of a year will meet with the Director of Golf to discuss different techniques to play in 4 hours or less. Members that are asked to skip ahead a third time will be invited to a Golf Committee meeting and may be restricted from “prime time” tee times. On days that we are Cart Path Only, pace of play will be set at 4 hours and 20 minutes. Repair ball marks on the green. Fill in all divots through the green. Carefully rake sand bunkers after use. Enter and exit the bunkers at their lowest elevation.

2026 - 2027 President’s Cup Season Long Individual Match Play Event You are cordially invited to participate in the fourteenth annual President’s Cup event to be contested during the months of October 2026 – April 2027. The field will be limited to the first 64 individuals to register. This year’s President’s Cup will have 2 stages. The first stage will be the group stage where players will be in Pods of players and will play each person in their group to determine a winner for that Pod. The next stage will be the Knockout stage where the winners of each Pod will play Individual match play until the Overall Champion is decided. For grouping purposes only, players will be grouped based on their Handicap Index** as of September 15, 2026. USGA Handicaps will be used at the time of the match. Players are responsible to schedule their match during the allotted time. Each month, the professional staff will send an update with the matches that have been completed. There will be strictly no extensions to the deadlines. If a match has not been played, a coin toss may decide the result or both teams may be scratched. Members should consider their availability before registering for the event. Brackets will be posted by September 22, 2026. The tournament format and the schedule of events have been included to help schedule your matches.

The “Chairman” 2026 - 2027 Four-Ball Match Play Season Long Team Match Play Event

You are cordially invited to participate in the annual “Chairman” Four-Ball Match Play event to be contested during the months of October 2026 - April 2027. The “Chairman” will be a year-long, single elimination, handicap, and flighted match play event. Team’s must be comprised of 2 Members and will be flighted based on combined handicap index. For seeding purposes only, players will be seeded based on their Handicap Index as of September 15, 2026. USGA Handicaps will be used at the time of the match. Players are responsible to schedule their match during the allotted time. There will be strictly no extensions to the deadlines. If a match has not been played, a coin toss may decide the result or both teams may be scratched. Members should consider their availability before registering for the event. Masters Par 3 & Players Draft Sunday, April 4, 2027 You are cordially invited to participate in the Annual Masters Par 3 & Players Draft to be played on Sunday, April 4, 2027. Members are invited to play in this fun and casual golf event that combines a unique 9 Hole Competition with a “Draft” of the upcoming 2027 Masters Participants. The field will be limited to the first 48 players to enter. Our tournament format will include individual gross and net followed by the Masters Player Draft. The prize fund will be split between the tournament and the draft competitions.

Ladies’ Super Senior Club Championship Thursday, April 15, 2027 The Super Senior Club Championship will be contested on Thursday, April 15, 2027. Members aged 65 or over on April 15 are eligible to compete for the Super Senior Championship. Super Senior Club Championship (65 years of age or older) – Burgundy Tee 18-hole stroke play event with the Super Senior Club Champion being the Member who returns the lowest Gross score. To encourage more participation, this event is a flighted event, and there will be net prizes in each flight. The flighted portion of the event will be capped at net double bogey as the max for each hole. Gross & Net prizes will be awarded (based on number of entries)

The event will be flighted. Gross & Net prizes will be awarded in each flight and the Net winner of each flight will advance to the shootout to determine the Overall Champion. We will be using both courses, both days and hope to have a spectacular event for our membership. Our tournament format and the schedule of events have been included to help schedule any outside activities. Please note that all dress for our tournament activities will be club casual.

Ladies’ Senior Club Championship Wednesday & Thursday, April 28 & 29, 2027 The Senior Club Championship will be contested Wednesday & Thursday, April 28 & 29, 2027. Members aged 55 or over on April 28 are eligible to compete for the Senior Championship. Senior Club Championship (55 years of age or older) – Burgundy Tee 36-hole stroke play event with the Senior Club Champion being the Member who returns the lowest Gross score. Gross & Net prizes will be awarded, based on the number of entries. To encourage more participation, this event is a flighted event, and there will be net prizes in each flight. The flighted portion of the event will be capped at net double bogey as the max for each hole.

Ladies’ Club Championship Saturday & Sunday, May 15-16, 2027 The Club Championship will be contested Saturday & Sunday, May 15 & 16, 2027. All amateur Members are eligible to compete for the Club Championship. Club Championship – Berkeley Hall Tee 36-hole stroke play event with the Club Champion being the Member who returns the lowest Gross score. Gross and Net Prizes will be awarded, based on the number of entries. To encourage more participation, this event is a flighted event, and there will be net prizes in each flight. North ~ South Challenge Saturday, October 2, 2027 You are cordially invited to participate in the North ~ South Challenge to be played October 2, 2027. We hope that you will join us for another round of fellowship and spirited team competition. The tournament format and schedule of events are also listed below. Please note that all dress for our tournament activities will be club casual.

Format Players will sign up as pairs (the golf staff will help pair individuals) and will be assigned to either the North or South team based on the following criteria: North Team ~ Property owners on or around the North course, Cottage owners on Clubhouse side of Good Hope Road and Willingham Court, or otherwise members with an even membership number.

South Team ~ Property owners on or around the South course, Cottage owners on opposite side of Good Hope Road from Clubhouse, or otherwise members with an odd membership number.

The winner of the tournament will be the team with the highest point total based on an average of the cumulative totals of their respective players. The number of scores being used will be based on a percentage of the total number of individuals per team.

Thursday will be the weekly tournament day for the ladies’ golf program at Berkeley Hall and all women interested in golf are invited to participate. If you wish to play, call the Golf Shop or register online using the Club website or Club app by 12:00 p.m. the Monday prior. Registrations will close on Mondays at 12:00 p.m. If the format scheduled requires more players than sign up, the professional staff may adjust the format to accommodate the number of players that sign up. Ladies’ Day golf events are usually divided into 9- and 18-hole groups. Golfers with a handicap of 36 or less are encouraged to play with the 18-hole group. When participation warrants, the 18hole group will be flighted according to handicaps. A maximum handicap of 36 will apply for all our major golf tournaments. There may also be some partner events where there would be a tenstroke differential between partners. Feel free to check with the professional staff if you have a question. USGA rules shall be followed unless otherwise specified. Play is from the Burgundy tees unless otherwise noted. You may choose to play from the Berkeley Hall Tees or the Green Tees, and your strokes will be adjusted accordingly. Please advise the professional staff if you wish to play from a different set of tees. The ‘Rule of 85’ will be in effect for those ladies wishing to move to the forward ‘silver’ tees.

Berkeley Hall Dress Code Appropriate golf attire is required for all Players. If in doubt as to appropriate attire, players should check with the Golf Shop staff. Shirts must be worn at all times. Men must have shirts with sleeves and collars (turtlenecks or mock collars are acceptable) and their shirts must be tucked in at all times. Women's golf specific sleeveless tops must have a collar. Women's golf specific tops without a collar must have sleeves. Slacks, trousers, athletic pants with pockets, shorts, skirts, dresses, skorts, and other attire, in styles designed for golf are permitted. There is no specific length requirement on dresses, shorts, skirts, or skorts; however, attire must present a professional image and undergarments may not be obviously visible. Leggings may be worn underneath an approved bottom but may not be worn alone. Hats must be worn with the bill facing forward. Denim, bathing suits, cargo pants/shorts (sewn on/extruding pockets), cut-offs, sweatpants, halter tops, tops that expose midriffs, and t-shirts not branded/designed for golf are prohibited. Fashion and industry standards are constantly changing; therefore, this is not an exhaustive list of acceptable and inappropriate attire but should serve as a guide. The Golf Shop staff reserves the right to make the final determination of the appropriateness of attire. Shoes: Soft Spikes and Tennis Shoes are the only acceptable shoes for the golf courses and practice facilities. Large rubber spikes, metal spikes, and/or field shoes are not permitted. Acceptable spikes are available through the Locker Room.

Event Eligibility Members in good standing with the Club, and whose account is not in arrears, on the date of such event, are eligible to play in events. All members and guests that enter events must have an active handicap recognized by the USGA (GHIN preferred). Dependents (Children of members in good standing, up to their 25th birthday) are eligible to play in Club events, with the exception of the Berkeley Classic and the Women’s Invitational. Dependents may play in the Club Challenge and the Berkeley Cup as long as they have a member that is in good standing playing in the same team. Club members, that are also golf professionals, may enter all events except for the Club Championship. They must have an active GHIN handicap on the BHC roster. They (or their team) will not be eligible for any Gross prizes. Members that invite golf professionals as their guests to play in an event, must ensure that their guest has an active GHIN handicap. Golf Professionals (and their teams) are not eligible to win any Gross prizes.

The format is total Net Stableford points of the Pair. 100% Handicaps will be used. $5 entry fee each time you play with the Pro. Want your friends to join in for some of the fun? Make your own group with the Pro and the Professional can be everyone's partner! All Berkeley Hall ladies are invited to mingle and learn about all things golf and the programs we offer for our ladies. September 30 • 18 Holes ~ Solheim Cup – Team Event – 8:30 a.m. Tee Times

Pairs Event. Partners will play a Scramble on holes 1-9 and an Alternate Shot format on holes 10-18. The team with the most points at the end of all the matches will be the winners.

9 Holes ~ Professional’s Choice – 9:30 a.m. Tee Times

Individual event. Each player will play their own ball throughout. The Professional Staff will select 6 holes at random that will count for the overall score.

OCTOBER October 7 ~ Opening Day Event (18-Hole Team event. Lunch to follow) • 18 Holes & 9 Holes ~ Team Event – 9:00 a.m. Shotgun Start

18 Hole Team event. Teams will comprise both 18 Holes and 9 Holes players. The event will be flighted (if participation warrants). Each team will play an ABCD scramble.

October 14 • No event – Berkeley Classic October 21 (Choose Your Foursome for both 9- & 18-hole events. Happy Hour to follow) • 18 Holes ~ “Let’s Share” Best Ball Scramble Combo – 11:00 a.m. Shotgun Start

Team event. Player A’s hole score must count on the 5 most difficult handicapped holes. Player B’s score must count on the next four most difficult holes, player C’s score must count on the next set of difficult holes and finally, player D’s score must count on the five easiest handicapped holes. While one player is playing the hole, the other three players will play a scramble format. The individual player’s score plus the Team Scramble score will count as the team score for the hole.

9 Holes ~ Best 6 Scores – 1:00 p.m. Shotgun Start

Individual event. Each player will play their own ball throughout. Record a score for each hole and choose the Best 6 scores. The best net 6 scores will be counted.

October 28 • No event – Women’s Invitational

NOVEMBER November 4 (Lunch to follow) • 18 Holes ~ Fall Shootout – 9:30 a.m. Shotgun

9-Hole Qualifier, followed by lunch and a shootout. Individuals will play a Stableford . The top 20 players will qualify to play in the shootout. Players are paired for the shootout.

9 Holes ~ Step-Aside Scramble – 9:30 a.m. Shotgun

November 11 •

No Event – Fall Member-Member Match Play event.

November 18 • 18 Holes ~ AA/BB – 9:00 a.m. Tee Times

Teams will be sorted into “A” Teams and “B” Teams. Each team will be paired and compete in their respective flight. Each player will play their own ball throughout. The 2 best balls of the team will count as the team score. If we have enough participation, we will also have a gross division.

9 Holes ~ Shamble – 10:00 a.m. Tee Times

Team event. Select the best drive, from that point all individuals play their own ball. The one best net score on each hole will be counted as the team score.

November 25 • No event – Happy Thanksgiving!

DECEMBER December 2 • No event – Club Challenge December 9~ Holiday Event (Lunch to follow) • 18 Holes ~ Scramble --- 9:30 a.m. Shotgun

Team event. Each player tees off. The best shot is then selected; this is repeated through the hole. The lowest net team score will be the winners.

Team event. Each player tees off. The best shot is then selected; this is repeated through the hole. The lowest net team score will be the winners.

December 16 • 18 Holes ~ “ME TOO!” Individual Gross & Net – 9:30 a.m. Tee Times (New Event!)

Individual event. Each player will be assigned four “Me Too” strokes and play their own ball throughout. If a player finds themselves in a bad spot, they call out “Me Too” and may move their ball to where another player is playing from and hit their next shot from that location. The player who returns with the best gross and net scores will be the winners.

December 23 • 18 Holes ~ Individual Gross & Net – 9:30 a.m. Tee Times

Individual event. Each player will play their own ball throughout. The player with the lowest gross and net score will be the winners.

9 Holes ~ Step-Aside Scramble – 10:30 a.m. Tee Times

December 30 • 18 Holes ~ Color Wars – 9:30 a.m. Tee Times

Team event. Each player will be assigned to the red or blue team and play their own ball throughout. Players will choose their best lowest 10 net scores. The color with the lowest net team total will be the winners.

9 Holes ~ 1 Best Ball & Team Scramble – 10:30 a.m. Tee Times

Team event. All holes will be a scramble format with the exception of the par 3’s where one best ball will count as the team score.
