Rooms will be available to check in from approx. 2pm If you are arriving before this time, the hotel will store your bags for you while you get out to see the city, have a bite to eat, or maybe even sample the Guinness….

For those not playing golf on this day, transport will leave the hotel at 9:30am for a half day trip south through the Wicklow Mountains to Glendalough with a few stops on the way to see some sights Back up to Dublin to join the group for the evening

Sunday, July 24 Check out of the Fitzwilliam Hotel in the morning Transport will leave the hotel at 9:45am.

Travel north to the Slieve Donard hotel. Lunch on the way or when we arrive to the hotel.

Check in to hotel when we arrive if we can. Royal County Down Golf Club is on property so just a short walk away.

A day at your leisure to explore the local area, or use the award winning Spa at the Slieve Donard Hotel.

After three rounds of golf, we may enjoy being able to put our feet up for a day?!

Alternatively we will have a day trip as follows;

Depart Slieve Donard at 9:30am Grave of Saint Patrick, Brigid & Colmcille; Down Cathedral Struell Wells (Saint Patrick’s Wells) Saul Church History and heritage of Strangford Village and the Historic ferry Cross on Ferry from Stangford to Portaferry Lunch in Exploris (own expense) Exploris Experience Tour of Picturesque Portaferry Arrive back to Slieve Donard at 5:30pm Group Dinner booked at the Slieve Donard’s Oak Room for 7:00pm

Tuesday, July 26 Early check out and departure 7:00am to head north for Portstewart Golf Club. We will take all of our bags with us on the transport.

Everyone will travel together up to the North Coast. The golfers will play at Portstewart Golf Club and those not playing golf will have a tour along the coast to see the Causeway Coast & the Giant’s Causeway….
