Berger Kahn’s summer mentorship program pairs each summer associate with an attorney mentor who provides individualized guidance, practical tips, and ongoing supervision. This one-on-one structure fosters professional development and supports a meaningful, hands-on learning experience.
Project Youth OC is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering at-risk youth and their families in Orange County. With a mission to keep youth in school, healthy, and drug free, this organization offers a wide range of evidence-based programs focused on education, counseling, mentoring, and family support.
Berger Kahn has been a longtime supporter of this program because we believe in investing in programs that create real, lasting change for the families and youth in our community.
Every year, Project Youth OC hosts its Brewfest event in Costa Mesa, where members of the community gather for beer and wine tasting, live music, food, and games —all while supporting their at-risk youth programs.
Building strong relationships and having fun with your team fosters collaboration, trust, and a positive work culture—which is why every summer, Berger Kahn brings the firm together for a day to cheer on our home team!

Project S.E.L.F. offers at-risk youth in our community a chance to explore professional careers in the legal field. During the panel, students engaged with our summer associates, asking questions about law school and how they’re preparing for their future careers.
Firm lunches are one of our favorite treats for all of the hard work from our team. Whether it is potlucks or catering, it’s the perfect time to take a break and hang out together!
