A LETTER FROM THE FOUNDER
As we gather to celebrate 20 incredible years of bergenPAC, I am filled with a deep sense of pride and reflection on the journey that has brought us here. Two decades ago, transforming a vacant theater into a thriving cultural hub for our community was no small task. It was the community’s support that kept our vision alive—there was a public outcry to save this theater and keep it a vibrant part of Englewood. The Russell Berrie Foundation paved the way for our benefactors, proving that if you build it, they will come. Alongside a dedicated group of founding trustees who believed in this vision and who, remarkably, are still serving today, we overcame countless challenges—finding resources, rallying community support, and keeping the doors open in those early days. This was a true private-public partnership that laid the foundation for all that we’ve become.
Looking back, those obstacles only make our triumphs more meaningful. bergenPAC has grown to be much more than a theater—it’s a cornerstone for worldclass entertainment and a beacon of hope, creativity, and inspiration. From legendary performers gracing our stage to countless students whose lives have been transformed by our educational programs, bergenPAC has far exceeded the dream we had 20 years ago.
We owe immense gratitude to all trustees who have served bergenPAC over the years. Their commitment, guidance, and support have shaped our growth and success. From the founding trustees to those who have joined us along the way, bergenPAC would not be where it is today without their unwavering dedication to this mission.
Beyond the magic that happens on stage, bergenPAC has had a profound and lasting economic impact on our community, downtown Englewood, and the state as a whole. The theater has become an economic engine, creating jobs, supporting local businesses, and revitalizing the heart of our town. By attracting visitors from across the region, bergenPAC has generated millions in economic activity, proving that the arts are not just a cultural asset but a powerful force for economic development.
Today, bergenPAC stands as a symbol of what is possible when a committed group of individuals come together with a shared vision. It is a place where the arts thrive, where dreams are realized, and where future generations will continue to be inspired. I am incredibly proud of all we have accomplished and even more excited for what the future holds.
Thank you for being part of this extraordinary journey. Your continued support fuels our ability to grow, create, and inspire. Here’s to many more years of success, innovation, and community togetherness.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Frank Huttle III Founder, bergenPAC
A LETTER FROM THE CHAIRWOMAN
As we celebrate 20 amazing years of bergenPAC, I am filled with immense pride and gratitude for the incredible journey we have shared together. Over the past two decades, bergenPAC has become a cultural cornerstone for our community, serving as a home for world-class entertainment and a creative center for arts education.
Tonight, we are especially grateful to our wonderful honorees—Aleta and Rich Taylor, Hackensack Meridian Healthcare workers and CEO Bob Garrett, and Lori Stokes.
We extend our gratitude to our Founder, Frank Huttle III, and to Edmondo Schwartz, Robert Cook, Sam Mann, Chris Yegen, and Donald Aronson for their visionary leadership and steadfast dedication. Their contributions have been instrumental in our achievements, and we acknowledge the pivotal role they have played in our success.
However, none of this would have been possible without the generous support of our donors, sponsors, and patrons. Your belief in the transformative power of the arts has enabled bergenPAC to grow, evolve, and make a lasting impact. Your unwavering support has ensured that our programs continue to reach beyond the stage, enriching lives through the bergenPAC Performing Arts School and community outreach initiatives. As we look ahead to the future, our mission remains the same: to bring the very best in the arts to our community while nurturing the talents of tomorrow. With your continued partnership, we are confident that bergenPAC’s next twenty years will be even more extraordinary than the last.
On behalf of the entire bergenPAC family, thank you for being an essential part of our story. Together, we will continue to make bergenPAC a place where the magic of the arts can be felt for generations to come.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Valerie Vainieri Huttle Chair, bergenPAC Board of Trustees

The possibilities are endless, and we can’t wait to see what we can achieve together. Thank you for standing with us, believing in the power of the arts, and playing a vital role in shaping the future of bergenPAC.
Your generosity and commitment are not just fueling our ability to create unforgettable performances, but they are shaping the very essence of bergenPAC’s future. As we look ahead, we’re excited for what the future holds—more world-class entertainment, lifechanging educational opportunities, and the continued impact of the arts to inspire, connect, and transform.
Together, we are building a legacy that will last for years to come, and you are at the heart of it.
With sincere appreciation,
Alexander Diaz Executive Director, bergenPAC
