Directions

Follow A120 East and exit at Gt Dunmow junction (B184) and turn left off the slip road onto the B1256. After approximately 2 miles in Gt Saling turn right into Piccotts Lane, follow Piccotts Lane for about half a mile until you come to a sharp left hand turn at which point go straight onto the driveway which curves round to the right before you arrive at Smiths Barn.

Take the B1008 from Chelmsford to Gt Dunmow, after crossing underneath the A120 go straight on before turning right and follow the B1256 (Dunmow Rd). After 7.2 miles turn left signposted (Great Saling). After 2 miles turn right onto Piccotts Lane, follow this road for half a mile before you come to a sharp left hand turn at which point go straight onto the driveway which curves round to the right before you arrive at Smiths Barn.
