Reasons to be cheerful The high profile success of the Queen’s Jubilee, a British male winning a tennis major for the first time in most of our lifetimes, another Brit leaving the world’s best cyclists in his wake as he won the Tour de France, the English football team at the European Championships (maybe not!), the astonishing comeback in the Ryder Cup and of course last and certainly not least, the sensational Olympic and Paralympic Games, has made it a year to remember. But how did the Essex property market react? Well the answer appears to be surprisingly well!
