The BakeHouse Chocolate Camper and Firepit is open from 4pm (Thursday to Saturday) and TOGETHER WE everyday leading up to Christmas. Everyone is welcome, families and friends can book up to ARE LOCAL: WORKING 6 guests per table. Our Firepit Menu of hearty winter dishes can be enjoyed throughout the evening, finished off by toasted marshmallows and chocolate treats by the fire!2020 showed us a whole new way of life. Unfortunately, for many there were new found hoops to jump through with the social distancing rules affecting how many traded. However some businesses found new and innovative ways to embrace the rules and adapted how they worked in order to continue operating. We speak to some of those Essex based businesses that have bounced back in line with various rules and tier systems. PRESSI Pressi based on the Essex border was launched in 2013 and enables consumers to send an instant digital gift or package with a personal We can’t wait to see you! We offer the ease of online purchasing whilst supporting the high street and local suppliers, digital vouchers can also be scheduled ahead e.g. 9am Christmas Day. The vouchers are valid for one year and any unspent funds are automatically transmitted for use on another occasion, offering flexibility, increased footfall and secondary spend.
Sue Tasker, Founder said we provide a fully outsourced digital voucher solution, that quite simply links from the brands website – Tiptree were our first white labelled partner. 2018 saw the introduction of Pressi Corporate Choice, a seamless way for corporates to incentivise and reward employees from a selection of suppliers.
THE BAKEHOUSE Covid set us a new challenge, we knew we had to find a way to deliver our usual Bakehouse offering in a warm & friendly envi“ ronment that our regular customers have come to know and love. Although we are very lucky to have large gardens and outside spaces, we had never tried to make use of these in the Winter season. We needed to create a concept that not only provided the experiences we have all missed throughout most of this year, but could still be enjoyed despite the chilly weather!
After experiencing some magical (totally Instagram worthy) Après venues in Canada earlier this year, we just knew we needed to bring a similar scene to The BakeHouse. Only a few days before Lockdown 2.0, The BakeHouse Chocolate Camper & Firepit was brought to life!
With roaring firepits, covered seating and complimentary S’mores the BakeHouse once again returned to the atmospheric and lively venue it has always been. Our Chocolate Camper has been kitted out to deliver all of our usual offering plus delicious Hot Chocolates, Festive Cocktails and …. the TIPSY SNOWMAN! Whether your tipple of choice is Baileys, Chocolate Orange, Mint or Espresso Martini the Snowman won’t let you down! (The Mini Snowman (non-alcoholic) is a firm favourite with our younger guests too!) pressi.co.uk

2020 and Pressi have enjoyed a sharp rise in activity in line with a recent statistica report confirming that consumer confidence in online spending has increased.
Pressi operate a straightforward business model for brands and retailers and as an interim solution if required. We have also approached several charities in light of the significant impact on fundraising this year and are pleased to be promoting St Helena Hospice and their wonderful ‘Gift for Good’ campaign.
