For more than 50 years, Berean Christian High School has stood in the gap for the benefit of students who aspire to live their lives as Christ’s men and women. To do that for the next 50 years, we need your support!
PREPARING STUDENTS TO LIVE FOR
Since 1969, Berean Christian High School has worked for the benefit of San Francisco Bay Area families who desire a solid Christian worldview education for their children. Our mission is to support Christian families (Deuteronomy 6:4-9) and churches (Ephesians 4:11-12) in developing the next generation of lifetime followers of Jesus Christ (Psalm 22:27).
While much has changed in five decades, BCHS has maintained a biblically inspired approach to secondary learning, launching nearly 4,000 academically prepared graduates into the world, who are empowered to transform the places God calls them to throughout their lives, granting them the opportunity to engage the culture for Christ.

PLANNING FOR THE NEXT 50 YEARS, TODAY
The rapidly changing world presents Berean Christian High School with a unique opportunity to deepen the spiritual formation, academic preparation, and leadership development of the next generation of Christian leaders in the San Francisco Bay Area. To lead in this dynamic environment, we must modernize and expand our facilities, ensuring they are equipped to support the needs of today’s students and those yet to come. This includes updating classrooms, enhancing athletic facilities, and designing innovative environments that spark curiosity, nurture community, and enhance our students’ spiritual growth.

GROWING FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD
As we look to the future, Berean Christian High School’s Administration and Board of Directors have identified two critical areas that require increased funding: facilities improvement and the growth of our endowment.
To fulfill our mission of preparing students to thrive in the world and make a meaningful impact for the Kingdom of God, we must create a state-of-the-art environment that will inspire learning, foster community, and support the spiritual growth of our students. Equally important is the expansion of our endowment.
BCHS is dedicated to providing a college preparatory, Bible-centered education to develop lifetime followers of Christ. Berean seeks to develop committed disciples, impacting the world for the glory of God, as Devoted Christians , Critical Thinkers, and Influential Leaders.
Phase 1 Academics and Athletics
In Phase 1, we will add two new classrooms, allowing the school to offer new programs, add AP courses, and ease scheduling pressures. We will also modernize existing classrooms, update the physical science lab, and refresh our campus to create a more beneficial learning environment. For athletics, we will replace the turf on our field and upgrade the bleachers with raised stadium seating that includes space underneath for storage and other athletic functions. These improvements are designed to provide our students with top-tier facilities that support their growth, both academically and athletically.
Phase 2 Performing Arts
As our performing arts program continues to thrive, we recognize the need for a dedicated space that reflects the excellence of our program. Phase 2 will focus on creating a state-of-the-art performing arts facility that will serve as a hub for rehearsals, performances, and other creative endeavors, enriching the lives of our students and the broader community.
Phase 3 Endowment Growth
The final phase of our plan is dedicated to expanding our endowment, allowing us to offer additional scholarships for families who seek a Christ-centered education for their children. A stronger endowment will also help us maintain affordable tuition for all students and provide competitive compensation packages for our teachers, securing the long-term sustainability of our mission.
INVESTING IN THE FUTURE OF BCHS
In faith, the leadership of BCHS has crafted a future-ready plan for enhancements to our school’s facilities. To make this possible, we are proposing a capital campaign that will require the support of friends like you.
This Prospectus has been prepared to inform our constituency about these plans. With the assistance of DickersonBakker—a professional capital campaign consulting firm—this Pre-Campaign Study is being conducted to help identify volunteers and donors who will come alongside to support and assist us in making this significant initiative a reality.
The total amount we will need to raise to complete this project is approximately $25 million. In addition to the strategic facility enhancement and upgrades to aging infrastructures outlined here, this plan also includes approximately 5% of our annual budget to be earmarked as scholarships for families who cannot afford Christian education, as well as teacher compensation packages to recruit and retain the best Christian educators.

The chart at the right provides a sampling of gifts that will be needed to complete a $25 million campaign. We are not yet asking for donations. However, we value your input, and at this stage, we are simply asking for your candid feedback to this Prospectus and PreCampaign Study.
