There are many nice people in my school who will teach me, help me, make sure I have fun, and keep me safe.

I may ride in a school bus, in a car, or walk to school to go home.

At school, I will meet many new friends who will be in my Kindergarten class.

In my Kindergarten class, I am going to learn many new and interesting things with my friends.

I will go to music class with my friends. I will sing songs, dance, and play musical instruments.

I will go to gym class with my friends. I will learn to exercise and keep my body healthy in fun ways.

I will go to art class with my friends. I will create with art materials like paint, chalk, and clay.

I will go to the library with my friends. I will find new and exciting stories to read.

I will go to the cafeteria to eat lunch with my friends. I can buy or pack my lunch.

I will go to recess on the playground with my friends. I will play, run, and jump.

I will be a good friend by keeping my hands and feet to myself.

(No pushing, hitting, or kicking)

I will be a good friend by using kind words.

(I won’t call anyone mean names)

I will be a good friend by raising a quiet hand to share my good ideas.

(No yelling or taking someone’s turn)

I will be a good friend by taking turns listening and talking to my classmates.

(I will meet many new friends in my class who will have ideas of their own, by talking and listening to them, I will be learning to get along with others)

I will be a good friend by listening to the teacher.

(The teacher wants to teach me the important things and keep me safe, this can happen if I am a good listener)
