DIVISION OF STUDENT AFFAIRS FOCUS AREAS Social Connection

We foster meaningful relationships and a sense of belonging by supporting students through moments of challenge, transition, and growth. Our work creates opportunities for connection—between peers, with staff, and across campus—so students feel seen, heard, and supported. Through educational conversations, restorative practices, and proactive outreach, we help students build trust, accountability, and community.

Wellbeing

Student wellbeing is at the center of everything we do. We provide holistic, individualized support that addresses academic, emotional, behavioral, and personal challenges. Through early intervention, coordinated care, and educational student conduct processes, we promote resilience, personal responsibility, and healthy decision-making— with the goal of helping students persist and thrive well beyond their years at Bentley.

Equity & Inclusion

We are committed to fair, inclusive, and transparent practices that honor students’ diverse identities, lived experiences, and needs. Our approach emphasizes dignity, access, and accountability, ensuring students receive equitable support and clear guidance. We continually examine our policies, processes, and interactions to remove barriers and promote belonging.

It’s also rewarding to see how our events and projects bring people together and promote meaningful connections across the campus community.“ “As an international student, my main goal on campus was to branch out as much as I could. Bentley offers an incredible number of opportunities to get involved and I’ve made it a point to explore as many as I can. The connections I’ve built through the different organizations I’m part of have genuinely been one of the best parts of my journey here.“ “Joining an organization gave me a chance to meet people who share the same energy and interests as me, while also pushing me out of my comfort zone.
