Your Bentley Falcon Card When you arrive on campus, your ID card will be key to getting around campus. The Falcon Card is the official identification card for all Bentley students, faculty and staff. Your ID is used for many different aspects of campus life, including: Gaining access to residence halls Entering the main dining hall – The 921 Using discretionary dollars at various campus dining locations Retrieving packages at the mail stop Falcon funds – which can be used when doing laundry, going to the on-campus Dunkin Donuts, using vending machines, and more Boarding our Harvard Square shuttle and campus loop bus Student discounts – offered at various stores Required to gain entrance to certain campus events (i.e. concerts) In order to have your ID ready for you when you get to campus, you’ll need to submit a photo of yourself! There is a link on your MyBentley portal that will connect you to the portal where this must be completed. Please follow all instructions and submit your photos by August 1st!

GETTING INVOLVED ON CAMPUS! College is full of endless opportunities, and involvement outside the classroom is one of the best ways to cultivate new passions. Bentley hosts MANY different student organizations (find the complete list here), and they all want you to join them this fall! During your first week on campus, there will be an activities fair, during which nearly every campus group will advertise their organization and encourage you to sign up for email information about their meetings. This is a great way to get to know a bunch of organizations and find what fits you best. If you’d like to see what campus groups were up to last year, take a look at SP&E’s blog, which highlights programs and events that were hosted on campus. When you get to campus on August 24th, you will get to know some of the most involved students on campus – the Orientation Leaders! We sat down to chat with a few of them about their involvements on campus. Check out what they had to say, and get a sense for some of the groups on campus.

Sustainability on Campus! Bentley is a lean, green, recycling machine. We take our responsibility to the environment very seriously, which is why each room receives its own recycling bin. We also have many campus wide programs that encourage sustainable practices. Visit our website for more details about what we are doing to keep Bentley sustainable at http://www.bentley.edu/offices/sustainability. See the graphic below for details on our zero sort recycling system, which means that you don’t have to sort your recyclables! Just be sure to separate your trash and recycling, and you are good to go. ď Š
