Kept mainly in the distance range of 1400m to 1600m NEW BUSINESS GB looks like the type that should stretch out further being by the right stallion to show that stamina to get to 2000m and maybe beyond. He also shows the sharpness to stay effective around a mile. He has some very good form behind some very highly regarded horses (see below in Nathans form), is very lightly raced and owns a powerful finishing sprint – so needed for our racing style here. Nathan’s thoughts on NEW BUSINESS (GB) "Started favourite in the Woodditton at the start of the season where he was third behind a subsequent Group 3 winner Passenger. Well-bred and was well regarded by the stable at the start of the year. Has a lot of potential on the track and form solid better then the likes of Sibaaq form when he was purchased. Should improve with gelding. Disappointing at Epsom on most recent start in late August but didn't handle undulating ground and no run since. Good quick stride, Interesting and very exciting horse. Nice horse with super ability won very well and showed a great length of stride the form from his win, the 2nd horse Orchid Bloom a winner and is 2 x stakes placed now and the day he ran 4th when leading up and he dug deep after being a bit keen. Novus, who beat him by a length, is now a Group 3 winner. On debut Passenger who he ran 3rd to is now a Group 3 winner this is very good value purchase with such solid form all around him. He looks a horse who has plenty of improvement and upside to come and a horse we have always followed closely as we purchased him as a yearling.
