INTRODUCING HIGH QUALITY 3YO FAWKNER PARK (IRE) 2019 GELDING ZOFFANY x ZA'HARA TIMEFORM RATING 92 Winner over 2200m by 6.5 Lengths
ABOUT FAWKNER PARK (IRE) Introducing a highly promising lightly, raced 3yo gelding FAWKNER PARK (IRE) a 6.5L last start winner! This horse shows such a turn of foot and he is tough and determined! This well bred ½ brother to recent Australian Gr2 Herbert Power Hcp winner Saracen Knight (IRE) looks a horse with untapped potential. Lightly raced, only 3 starts, he has shown an electric turn off foot and has the scope to develop into a group class 2000m horse. FAWKNER PARK (IRE) started his promising career off at Killarney Ireland , a tricky undulating track on the 1st October over 1600m . Here is Racing Post Uk thoughts on his run - “Towards rear of midfield, pushed along and headway on outer over 2f out, ran green but kept on strongly and went third inside final furlong, EYECATCHER (op 7/1)” The gelding really showed that turn of foot we love to see. He was wide throughout this day and did show a little greenness. When he knuckled down to his job that big determined finish showed. The gelding was taken to Leopardstown on the 15th October for his next run over 1800m. He jumped away in the back half of the field and continued to race wide. As with Irish racing they raced well off the fence so FAWKNER PARK (IRE) raced widest around to the home turn and into the straight. He did show a little greenness again and gave the jockey a bit of azig zag last 200m but again showed that turn of foot to be beaten under 1.5L in what was to turn out to be a good form race. Here is Racing Post Uk thoughts on his run “Towards rear of midfield, pushed along under 2f out, ridden from over 1f out, ran green but kept on strongly inside final furlong, nearest finish” FAWKNER PARK (IRE) backed up 6 days later at Dundalk AWT which is more shaped to what we have here over 1900m. Racing the closest he has in 3 starts FAWKNER PARK (IRE) finally put it all together and WOW that turn of foot was evident as he powered away for a 6.5L romp! Here is Racing Post Uk thoughts on his run “In touch with leaders, nudged along and went second under 2f out, ridden to lead over 1f out, ridden out and went clear inside final furlong, easily (op 5/4)”

Group 1 winners Thunder Moon, Prosperus Voyage, Albigna and Mother Earth came in his first few crops and from Southern Hemisphere use Kilmore Cup winner Hi Stranger is probably best. But it is his Imported stock into Australia that have proved highly successful. Nathan’s thoughts on FAWKNER PARK (IRE) "This boy has been super in his first 3 starts showing that he has a great turn of foot. He can reel off super sectionals which makes a top class stayer, and he can also sustain a long run. He is a really good stayer in the making who is still maturing. The form has started staking very well he's 2nd start where he came late and just ran out of ground the winner Rare Middleton sold last night also and made double our price, the 2nd horse Imaginarium has since won since, 4th that day Realism is stakes placed in a Group 3. This boy was taking a lot of ground of these horses late. Cannot wait to get him to Annabel Neashams stable very exciting prospect. The horse Fleet Commander who he beat by 6 lengths made 100 pound overnight also which tells us we are not the only ones rating this form so high. " Annabel Neashams thoughts on FAWKNER PARK (IRE) "Fawkner Park looks a really progressive staying type. I love the way he’s improved with every start and his got the right physical attributes to adapt to Australia. Above all else I trust Stuart Boman’s eye, he seems to buy horses that suit our system, as highlighted by Zaaki, Top Ranked, My Oberon and Sibaaq. He’ll arrive as a Class 1 horse and is a very exciting horse to take through the grades. "
Leading European Bloodstock agent Stuart Bowman ( responsible for the purchase of Zaaki to come to Australia and also our very own Sibaaq) said this about FAWKNER PARK (IRE) FAWKNER PARK Timeform rating 92. "He has had three quick runs in succession, he ran two good races and then won really well at Dundalk and put in a good sectional time. He has progressed in his racing manners, and really has come a long way in a short period of time. I spoke with Joseph [O'Brien] and have a good working relationship with him. He told me that he was a backward horse. Joseph is such a good trainer, I respect his operation and have confidence buying from him." "We thought he was good buying, he finished close to Rare Middleton [October 15 at Leopardstown] and he will make a lot of money shortly, he should make this horse look cheap!" "Has a plenty of ability and travels well in his races. Exciting prospect for Australia he is a Half-brother to Sarcen Knight who has won the Herbert Power recently."
