ABOUT DAM CORAL REEF CORAL REEF is a winning daughter of super sire GALILEO. A winner over 1700m she is the dam of 5 winners all by different sires which is quite remarkable. Two of her progeny the very smart staying mare MISS MOANA, who was stakesplaced 2nd in the GR3 SA Fillies Classic and her full brother HOLLYWOOD MO, 2nd Geelong Classic L have excelled past 1600m. Their 1/2 brother Bennett Racing’s own APACHE STAR is a 4 time winner incl at Metropolitan level. CORAL REEF’S 2yo DEEP FIELD filly is Bennett Racing’s very exciting filly BEAUTY RISING who came from a hopeless position on debut at Moonee Valley to flash home for 2nd and posting some amazing closing sectionals. Of course this colt is 3/4 brother to that GR1 Blue Diamond bound filly. BEAUTY RISING is trained by Phil Stokes who will train this colt.
ABOUT STOKES RACING
Champion trainer Phillip Stokes consistently gets the best from his horses and the ability to transfer from state to state under son Tommy in South Australia has worked well for Bennett Racing. This is the type of colt Phillip loves scope, big mover and sensible no nonsense. This colt will come back into work late June and start his first full prep. Phillip has already had great sucess with this family and that looks set to continue. He has also produced some very nice prospects for the Bennett Racing team this year.
