ABOUT DEEP FIELD X CORAL REEF 20 FILLY A good sized attractive filly the Deep Field x Coral reef filly shows a few of the Galileo characteristics. Very flashy type of filly that has very good size and scope. As with most Galileo bred progeny she does have slightly longer pasterns but this is why she has such a great stride on her, moving effortlessly with big strides. The filly shows very good athleticism with great well defined muscling. She has done everything super in her Education and love the way shes developed through each prep. The way she jumps out of the barriers is a great sign moving forward. ABOUT DEEP FIELD Deep Field was a seriously fast horse who has transmitted that speed into a lot of his progeny. A member of the all conquering Eight Carat family Deep Field has started his career of very well with 13 stakes winners already and sitting 13th on the general sires list. He shows no sex bias towards fillies or colts although this season has been a great one for his fillies, the likes of Isotope, Fituese and Quantum Mechanic. ABOUT CORAL REEF Coral Reef was a nice winning mare over 1700m/1900m typical of her sire Galileo. At stud she has two individual stakes placed progeny. The filly Miss Moana who was 2nd in the Group 3 SA Fillies Classic & 3rd in the Gr3 Christmas Cup she was a winner from 1600m to 3200m! The other Hollywood Mo was 3rd in the Listed Geelong Classic. Bennett Racing have Metro winner Apache Star out of the mare with Phillip & Tommy Stokes. This is a deep International Family with the 3rd dam being the Group 1 Irish Oaks winner Knights Baroness. This filly has good residual value and as we have just seen at Bennett Racing fillies hold value. This Fillies half brother just sold as a weanling for $190K. ABOUT PHILLIP STOKES Champion trainer Phillip Stokes consistently gets the best from his horses and the ability to transfer from state to state under son Tommy in South Australia has worked well for Bennett Racing.
