can be chosen with or without a seat pad or with full upholstery. The padded seat pad is magnetic and can be removed without tools at any time. The wooden shell seat can also be retrofitted with a seat pad later if needed, offering maximum flexibility. The covers of the seat pad and full upholstery can be cleaned independently and replaced if necessary

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

1 2 Seat shell and back tray: Shaped shell made of plywood, top-coated or veneered.

The underside of the seat shell includes a stacking tray (black or white, depending on the frame) which protects the wooden shells from damage when stacked and ensures a clean formal appearance. There are also flush-mounted magnets on the underside for attaching a seating pad and seat numbering, see the “Options” section.

Full upholstery: The seat shell is available with optional full upholstery. It is made of flame-resistant polyurethane foam (CRIB 5), covered with fabric, faux leather or real leather, according to the manufacturer’s collection.

The full upholstery is removable thanks to the assembly using the thread technique and can be cleaned or replaced if it becomes dirty.

Armrests are made of synthetic material. 4-leg frame white: armrests in stone white, 4-leg frame black / aluminium / chrome: armrests in black. Cantilever frame white: armrests in grey, cantilever frame black / aluminium / chrome: armrests in black. They are inserted into the round tube and secured in place. The armrest for the cantilever chair is soft for additional comfort, thanks to the soft plastic used. 3

Frame: There are three frame designs available, two of which have armrests as an option. Additionally, the skid frame is available in two extra heights for bar stools.

All frames are made of steel and can be configured with powder-coated (white, aluminium-coloured, black) or chrome-plated options. They are available with either felt glides or plastic glides.

SUSTAINABILITY

From the specifications stage through to series production, ecological requirements are always an important factor in the development process. This includes selecting environmentally compatible materials, such as CoC-certified timbers from sustainably managed forests, using recycled materials and increasing the use of renewable raw materials. In order to guarantee a high recyclability standard for our products, we avoid composites as much as possible and develop furniture that allows for disassembly.

Labelling of materials, their ability to be repaired, and a long service life for the components used, are other important requirements for product design. But the ability to disassemble and recycle the products at the end of their lives are also important criteria.

SUSTAINABLE RAW-MATERIALS

At Bene, the following materials are used as a matter of course:

chipboards low in formaldehyde glues low in formaldehyde

· water-based varnish systems recyclable materials

· materials with a high recycling share PVC-free synthetics

CONTRIBUTION TO BUILDING CERTIFICATIONS

Bene guarantees products free from: CmR substances

halogenated solvents in synthetics

· chlorinated hydrocarbons

heavy metal pigments

· materials with azo pigments

Coatings with biocidal effects (such as wood preservatives, pesticides).

In the context of ecological building certification, design systems such as furniture and dividing walls help to achieve a good result and a higher score.

Bene's products make a contribution towards the LeeD, WeLL Building Standard, DGnB, BReeAm, etc. certifications. Criteria include, for example, environmental product declarations, indoor air quality, acoustics and convertibility.
