Men’s 1st’s make good start

In Chatham Cup The Men’s 1sts despite dominating play, went behind 1-2 in there game against Franklin United. However, goals to Adam Dickinson, Chris Bale, Andy Boyens, Benji Roberts, Ryan Marrow and a Scott Campbell double saw them canter to victory by 7-3. They did finish with 10 players with Brodie Poole receiving 2 yellow cards. Coach Boyens took the opportunity to give Keeper Josh Dijkstra a run in goal.

At the start of the 2014 season, FHM were preparing for a lengthy journey. After being Olly Ceci relegated 2 years in a row the club6. was about to start the NRFL division 2 season and was tasked with turning fortunes around to get back to the top flight.

The Women’s 1sts kicked off their Women’s Knockout Cup campaign with a solid 3-1 win over Papatoetoe. Papatoetoe went ahead through a goal to Savana Asafo-Tavitan after 25 minutes.
