Three Tannat rosé wines.
For the second year in a row, Bending Branch W inery and Ursa Vineyards have joined together for an optional club release. The package includes two bottles of each: 2019 Ursa Tannat Rosé, 2020 Bending Branch Tannat Rosé, and 2020 Bending Branch Tannat Frizzante. Though the California and Texas wineries produce distinctly different wines, they have a lot in common.
2001
Ursa Vineyards W inemakers Greg Stokes and Deborah Elissagaray made the first Tannat variety wine in California.
2007
Bending Branch W inery Owners Dr. Bob and Brenda Young hired Greg Stokes as a consultant.
2008
Bending Branch W inery's first vintage of Texas Tannat. It was released in 2010, making it one of the first Tannat wines in Texas.
2014
Dr. Bob and Brenda Young purchase the Ursa Vineyards brand and hire Greg Stokes as a full time member of the Bending Branch winemaking team.

gent ly effervescent Frizzante is an Italian word meaning ?gently effervescent.?The Tannat Frizzante starts as a still rosé. Carbon dioxide is added to the wine as it is bottled, then it is quickly sealed with a wine-safe crown. Since its first release in 2018, this wine has been a hit with club members and first-time visitors. The 2020 vintage marks the fourth release of this refreshing sipper.
