New releases and t hanks New r eleases The Apr il club packages contain three new releases. The 2018 Sagr antino, Texas High Plains, expresses bold tannins and pair s nicely with a juicy r ib eye steak.

While a good companion to food today, this wine will evolve beautifully with time in the cellar. It is included in the 1840 Custom Case, Br anch Red, 1840 Mixed, and 1840 Red clubs.

The 2018 Malbec Reser ve, Cherokee Rose Vineyard, is the second reser ve bottling of Malbec from this 4- acre Texas Hill Countr y vineyard. Two bar rels of this wine were produced, and 1840 Custom Case club member s have fir st access through their Apr il club release selections.

Also in the 1840 Custom Case club selections, and included in the 1840 Red club, is Bending Br anch's fir st reser ve

bottling of Caber net Sauvignon, Newsom Vineyards. From the 2018 vintage, the best two bar rels were selected for additional aging.

The ter m ?reser ve? on a wine label indicates a special bottling or selection. The gener al implications are smaller quantity and higher quality, select oak bar rels par ticularly suited to the gr ape var iety and style, and/or extended aging.
