TO THE 2020 FALCONS BASEBALL SEASON WELCOME FALCON BASEBALL PARENTS AND FANS, The 2019-2020 Boys Baseball Season is here. We are excited and look forward to a great spring. We want to assure you that as a Falcon Family we are here to support your athlete along this journey. Our Falcon players and coaches have worked diligently to ensure that they are prepared for that first pitch.

Timber Creek High School has the expectation that our athletes will represent our school with pride, dignity and respect at all times. We expect this in the classroom, on the field, and in our community. We also have that same expectation for our outstanding fans.

Please support our team enthusiastically, while ensuring your support contributes to an appropriate positive environment for all who attend our games. Our athletes thrive on your positive energy.

We also have an expectation that our officials are treated with the respect they deserve.

Officials spend many hours working to improve at their profession and do a great job making difficult split-second decisions. Our focus during games should be that of supporting our athletes. We should not address the officials, and we must let them do what they were hired to do. Any violation of this expectation can result in your removal from the park and put future attendance in jeopardy.

A MESSAGE FROM THE

HEAD COACH Each spring brings a renewed sense of excitement and energy as we prepare for a new season of baseball. This years Falcon’s are looking to leave a lasting impression. We have a strong combination of players that will lead our program during the 2020 campaign. The impact from sophomores, juniors and seniors in this group will look to build on past successes and leave an impact on the traditions that have been set within our program.

As always, we are very grateful for the support we continue to receive from parents, the Athletic Booster Club, our sponsors and our Falcon fans. We could not possibly reach our goals if it were not for the combined efforts of all these entities pulling together for our team. We continually strive to put not only a great product on the field, but also upgrading our facilities for our players.

SEASON PREVIEW THE COACHING STAFF AT TIMBER CREEK HIGH SCHOOL IS LOOKING FORWARD TO THE 2020 SEASON. It is exciting to see the growth of our program from one season to the next. The Falcon players work extremely hard, not only during our school seasons, but put in countless hours individually and with other local programs to improve their baseball skills and abilities. This dedication and work ethic will propel these players in their baseball careers, as well as their direction in life. We look forward to seeing that work pay off on the field this season.

UIL District 5-6A will no doubt be one of the best in the State of Texas. The local talent in this area continues to prove year in and year out that it is the best and most challenging around. Our early season will certainly challenge our abilities in the hopes to prepare our team for district play. We will compete in two North Texas Tournaments with extremely good competition and will also take part in the Weatherford Tournament.

The Falcons will be anchored by a large group of players who are dedicated to helping make our team the best yet.

Several players will continue to play beyond their time on the Falcon Baseball Diamond and will carry the traditions of our baseball program on to their new teams. Our players have certainly developed high standards within our program that support the mindset that the pride and tradition of Timber Creek Falcon Baseball will not be entrusted to the timid or the weak. With this type of leadership, and strong support from underclassmen, the Falcons will look to make an impact in the 5-6A District race and beyond.

One of the many goals of the coaching staff is to help our players understand the importance of doing well in the classroom, as well as on the field of play. We believe our athletes are students first and baseball is a reward for doing well academically. Baseball provides players terrific life lessons that can be carried well beyond the diamond. We are honored to have your support in these players quest to reach new levels of success within our program.
