PATRICK HELM >> VARSITY HEAD COACH I am excited to begin my 1st year as the head softball coach of JMRHS and 16th year coaching overall. In 1991, I began my coaching career at University High School in Spokane Washington. While at University I was able to be a part of a program that won four consecutive conference championships, two regional titles and five consecutive trips to the WIAA state tournament. My family and I moved from Spokane to Grandview Washington where I coached at Grandview High School. As the softball coach, in 1997, I inherited a program that averaged two wins per season. Within four years our coaching staff and players were able to build a program that competed in its first WIAA state tournament. My family and I decided to make a move to North Carolina and eventually I continued my teaching/coaching career at Hickory Ridge High School in Harrisburg, NC. While at HRHS my coaching staff and players were able to create a standard and culture of excellence that allowed us to win four consecutive SPC conference/tournament championships and four trips to the NCHSAA state tournament. We reached the fourth round in back to back years. I have been fortunate to be honored with the Independent Tribune Dream Team Coach of the Year award in 2015 and 2018 and the SPC Conference Coach of the Year in 2018. My coaching staff and I are excited to begin this new chapter, at Jay M Robinson‌GO BULLDOGS!

JOHN LEWIS >> VARSITY HEAD COACH My name is John Lewis and I am the Girl’s Varsity Soccer Coach. This will be my first year as the girls varsity coach. For the last two years I have been the JV coach. I have been involved with soccer either as a team manager, assistant coach, or referee since the early 90’s.
