AGENDA

Prime Minister & Minister of Finance, Investment, Economic Transformation, Civil Aviation & E-Governance
Belize stands as a beacon of opportunity as the Nexus of CARICOM, Central America, and Southeastern Mexico, poised to strengthen international partnerships and expand access to new markets. Our country’s strategic geographic location, rich biodiversity, and youthful, English-speaking population continue to set us apart as a premier destination for sustainable investment and innovation.
This year’s Belize Investment Summit, themed “Bridging Markets, Building Resilience,” underscores our commitment to fostering greater connectivity among global and regional investors, while strengthening Belize’s capacity to thrive in an everevolving economic landscape. From high-potential sectors such as Agritech, Renewable Energy, Tourism, Agribusiness, and the Blue Economy, to emerging opportunities in Creative Industries and Ecosystem Services, Belize offers a wide spectrum of investment possibilities aligned with global sustainability goals.
As Prime Minister, I reaffirm my government’s commitment to an inclusive and resilient economic strategy, one that is rooted in transparency, innovation, and sustainability. Guided by our national development plan, #PlanBelize, we have made bold strides in reforming our investment climate through policy enhancements, streamlined processes, and proactive engagement with the private sector.
These efforts reflect our unwavering dedication to building a resilient economy that benefits all Belizeans. I am especially proud that Belize continues to lead by example in climate finance, debt restructuring, and marine conservation, demonstrating that economic growth and environmental stewardship can go hand in hand. It is with great optimism and national pride that I invite you to participate in this year’s Belize Investment Summit.
Come and explore the many ways in which your investment can make a lasting impact, bridging markets, empowering communities, and building resilience together.
The Belize Investment Summit 2025 (BIS 2025), aims to position Belize as a resilient and strategic investment hub at the intersection of CARICOM, Central America, and Mexico, especially in the context of shifting global trade dynamics. Under the aspirational overarching theme “Bridging Markets, Building Resilience” BIS 2025 invites investors, policymakers, and entrepreneurs including Belizeans living abroad or returning home to re-imagine Belize as a gateway to prosperity in a world where regionalization is presenting strategic opportunities.
