Fall is finally here, so we should start to feel cool breezes, we will watch as the leaves start to change color, and we can experience all of the fun that comes along with fall from festivals, to apple and pumpkin picking, to Halloween decorations to picking out costumes for trick-or-treating.

While you’re snacking on candy, be sure to read all about family in this edition. The history of Ellis Island is amazing, learn about your family history by writing a letter to an older relative, find out about the Three P’s of Parents, and explore your family genes.

While Halloween to most of us means costumes, trick-or-treating with friends, and lots of candy, it’s always important to stay safe while having fun.
