LYNN, MA - Late on the night of February 21st, the Lynn, MA Fire Alarm Office dispatched units to a reported building fire on Estes Street. Upon arrival, Engine 5 found smoke showing from the second-floor of a three-story occupied multiple dwelling (OMD) located behind other structures, set well off the street. They immediately called for a working fire assignment. As crews began their interior attack, command noted that strong winds were pushing the fire toward an exposure—a large two-and-a-halfstory church on Chestnut Street. -
