Works Underway For Brian Ellis Boat Shed
Works on additions to the Brian Ellis Boat Shed have commenced under the guidance of the Sailing Committee. Lambton based construction company Skelcon will complete all renovations prior to the beginning of the 2023 / 2024 sailing season.
The ground floor is being reconfigured receiving new custom racks to accommodate the various requirements of our Clubs growing fleet, while the installation of a new mezzanine level will offer flexible spaces accommodating for sailing administration facilities, meeting rooms for briefings and training areas for junior sailing and tackers.
The new “Race Control” (architectural renderings right) will enjoy the panoramic water views from the eastern side of Club as well as enhanced technology measures in the addition of CCTV live streaming to several new monitors.
