Fueling Florida’s Energy Future Peoples Gas has been delivering clean, affordable natural gas to homes and businesses across Florida for more than a century. Today, we’re investing in new technologies and solutions that better our environment for tomorrow. More than 75% of Florida’s net electricity is generated by natural gas, and that’s played a major part in helping the state reduce emissions over the last 20 years. As a reliable resource, natural gas supports the expansion of renewable energy to lower emissions even further.
